Entrapment
Submitted by näfglass on Sun, 2009-03-22 23:36.This marble captures an anomaly of glass. A bubble in a piece of glass can cause stress in the glass and is typically considered a flaw. However, if the bubble is round and not elongated, it then becomes stress free. This entrapment technique deliberately uses air bubbles to accent a burst of color.

Finally, I get it on a piece of sheet glass which I melt into various beads. These are on black but the series will include other colors. Keep checking back for new additions!

Wine Stoppers
Submitted by näfglass on Mon, 2008-11-17 22:54.These are stainless steal wine stoppers with a blown glass top. The cobalt blue honeycomb pattern is intricate yet clean and accents any bottle of wine. It's important that stainless steal is used or else red wine will eventually eat through chrome plated stoppers. These stoppers are extremely durable and look great for all occasions! They also make great gifts!
